Lightroom is a better product than DAAAM at everything DAAAM does not attempt. It develops RAW files, masks, heals, corrects lenses, tethers, prints, and syncs your edits to a phone. DAAAM has no develop module and no plans for one. Adobe did add natural-language search to the Lightroom desktop app in April 2026, but that feature has not reached Lightroom Classic, which is where most professionals keep the archive. So if you have eleven years of DSC-numbered folders in a Classic catalogue and you want the frame of the pier in fog that you never keyworded, DAAAM finds it and hands it back to Lightroom to develop.
